Container terminal at Dar es Salaam port

Built where the freight actually moves

Green Moves Partners is a logistics-technology company headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania — at the port and trucking corridor that moves freight for the whole region.

Why we exist

Freight information in East Africa lives in phone calls

Who has a truck, who has a load and what it should cost is scattered across WhatsApp groups and personal contacts. We built one live database so that information is in one place, for everyone on both sides of a booking.

See how it works
  • Trucks run empty on return legs

A truck that delivers to Mwanza often drives back to Dar es Salaam with nothing on it, because nobody knew it was free.

  • Prices are agreed blind

Without a view of what capacity exists on a route, a trader has no way to know whether a quote is fair.

  • Documents live in glove boxes

Permits and insurance travel on paper, and a lapsed one tends to surface at the border rather than before the trip.

Vision

No truck runs empty. No trader waits on a phone call.

A region where capacity, cargo and price are all visible in one place, so freight moves on information rather than on who you happen to know.

Mission

One live database, from Dar es Salaam outward.

Connect traders, transport companies, truck and lorry owners and cargo companies — with booking, documents and pricing handled digitally, corridor by corridor.

What we value

Four things we don't compromise on

They shape how the platform works, from what we show on a listing to who gets a verified badge.

Market trader with prices displayed on produce

Transparency

Prices and terms are visible up front, in TZS and USD, before anyone commits.

Operations worker verifying a delivery document

Reliability

Operators are verified by a person, and every booking is tracked to a reference.

Access

Built for a phone on a slow, expensive connection. Nothing heavy, nothing hidden.

Truck on an open highway

Regional reach

Dar es Salaam outward, adding corridors and hubs as operators join.
